University Heights is a mixed use, mid-rise development. Once complete, the site will consist of 593 rental units with significant retail space on the ground floor. The property is located at Shelbourne & McKenzie in Victoria, BC.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000.
The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for employment at the time of posting. Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

What your day might look like:
• Being part of a team and having fun while providing excellent customer service
• Manage daily operations of the property to achieve established budgeted financial and operational goals
• Control expenditures by staying within constraints of the approved budget including maintenance repairs
• Oversee the lease enforcement process by approving prospective resident applications, and discounts
• Supervises property staff to ensure leasing goals are met; this includes hiring, training and performance management
• Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by providing updates and reporting on the property’s performance and responding to owner requests as needed
What we are looking for in a lease-up, Property Manager:
• Previous property management experience is required, fee management preferred
• Experienced at driving sales in competitive markets
• Proficient leader, able to direct and evaluate team members in a sales environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/OneSite software
• Previous experience in creating/adhering to budgets, fiscal reporting
• Skilled in planning and executing on resident retention strategies
